Rivkah joined Jones Mandel during the 2022 Midterm cycle, starting as a fellow before transitioning to her current role as an associate. Graduating from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a degree in Forensic Psychology, Rivkah has worked for environmental groups, research labs, and religious nonprofits. When not working, Rivkah can be found curled up in a nest of blankets (yes, even in the summer) reading a book or watching television.
Kelly started her career in the place she grew up: Virginia. With the election of Trump, she jumped feet first into the campaign world and joined the Tom Perriello campaign for Governor. After the Virginia primary, she joined Senator Elizabeth Warren's Senate campaign through 2018 then continued working for the Senator during her 2020 Presidential with a focus on self-research and rapid response. She wrapped the 2020 campaign cycle as a Research Desk with House Majority PAC handling dozens of congressional districts key to protecting the House. She currently lives in DC with her dog Biscuit and looks forward to working with a range of races at Jones Mandel and help elect more Democrats.
Benjamin fell in love with the energy, excitement and passion of campaign politics during the successful re-election of his home state Governor, Zell Miller. Since then, he has steadily worked in several capacities and built three consulting firms over 27 years. His wide-ranging professional experience includes: political campaign consulting, crisis communications research, issue management, competitive intelligence for corporations, non-profits and issue groups. Today, Ben is driven by running a successful company, building great teams, solving problems for clients and introducing research to a new generation. Ben has a masters degree from George Washington University and lives in Seattle with his wife, 3 kids and dog Mudd. When not working, you will find Ben with his family at an event for one of his middle school kids, walking the dog, at the gym, playing golf, reading or attempting some new outdoor activity with patient friends and family.
Andrew graduated from the University of Kansas in 2021 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Intelligence & National Security Studies. Before entering into research, Andrew volunteered for several Democratic campaigns and interned for Representative Emanuel Cleaver before becoming a congressional fellow in his office. He lives in Kansas City and loves producing music, playing poker, and hanging out with his cat, Maria.
Elizabeth graduated from Duke University with degrees in Engish, German and theater studies, finding politics when she started as an organizing fellow with the Hillary Clinton campaign. She went on to intern with Adalah - The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel, the TEAM, and Rock the Vote prior to starting at Jones Mandel during the 2018 election cycle. Since then, Elizabeth has led self and opposition projects for clients on the state and national level. She is a proud Jersey knucklehead, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her dog Evie and her kitten Schmutzy.
Mia graduated from Santa Monica College with Associate's degrees in History and in Public Policy, then earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in War and Peace Studies from University of California, Davis. She learned about the barriers to voting during her internship with the NAACP, about environmental lobbying when working for Californians Against Waste, and about the difficulties of labor organizing in the decentralized gig economy. Mia also worked intermittently as a poll clerk and poll inspector during elections in Los Angeles County, where she currently lives. In her free time, Mia enjoys history, speculative fiction, and creative writing.
Chelsea graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Political Science, International Affairs, and Economics while getting involved in student organizations on-campus. Before joining Jones Mandel, she interned on the Hill with Congressman David Scott's office. She lives in Georgia and enjoys going on walks and watching movies in her spare time.
Joanna graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with degrees in Political Science and Legal Studies while getting involved with campus organizing, student campaigns, and the local union. Prior to Jones Mandel, they worked as a Political & Policy Fellow for the Sunrise Movement and an Intern for Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14). In her spare time, she can be found daytripping, reading, or with their cat Evie. Joanna resides in New England but retains Mid-Atlantic roots, as she remains fond of the 76ers.
